Join us for a weekend of living history as Grantanbrycg bring the early medieval world to life at Denny Abbey and Farmland Museum.
Watch battle displays as warriors clash in authentic combat, showcasing the weapons, tactics, and armour of the early medieval period. Wander through the living history encampment where skilled craftspeople demonstrate traditional techniques – from weaving and leatherwork to cookery and authentic board games.
Whether you’re chatting with a storyteller, having a go at stamping your own coin, or exploring the historic abbey grounds, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Come along, meet the people of Grantanbrycg, and discover how life was lived in East Anglia long before the modern world arrived.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July. Standard Admission charges apply.
