Introduction to T’ai Chi

Join us for an enriching introduction to Tai Chi on August 9th from 10am to 1pm, set against the stunning backdrop of the 12th-century Denny Abbey. Led by a highly qualified and experienced tutor, Fara Afifi from Move to Health.

T’ai Chi Chuan, or Tai Chi, is a traditional Chinese martial art known for its slow, flowing movements that enhance balance, flexibility, and relaxation. Practiced for its health benefits, Tai Chi helps reduce stress, improve balance, and increase strength. Join us to experience this graceful practice that promotes harmony between body and mind.

This workshop will guide you through the graceful movements and principles of Tai Chi, promoting balance, relaxation, and mindfulness. Tickets cost £30 per person and include a delicious vegan/plant-based light lunch at the end of the session.

Should you need to cancel your booking, a full refund will be given up to two weeks before the event. Cancellations within two weeks of the event will not receive a refund. If the organiser cancels the workshop for any reason, we will attempt to reschedule the event or offer a full refund. We cannot reimburse travel, accommodation, or any other expenses incurred related to the cancelled workshop. All visitors included on the booking have access to the whole of Denny Abbey and the Farmland Museum on the day of the workshop (between 10am and 4pm).
