Learn a new craft with the wonderful world of needle felting, with city farmer and shepherdess Emma Harrison, from the Russet Flock. This workshop runs from 10-4 on the 21st of September 2025.
The session will start with a discussion about the amazing range of British sheep breeds and the different properties of their wool, looking at historic uses and the way we can continue using wool in our modern society. You will then be guided through the process of making your very own needle felted sheep, using wool from Emma’s own flock, and others local to her, all sheared by her husband.
The needle felting techniques taught can then be used to continue creating more woolly creations at home, opening up a world of fun possibilities for making gifts and decorations.
Over 18s only.
£100 including tea/coffee and cakes/biscuits throughout the day, all materials and equipment, plus information to take away after the event to continue your new hobby.
